Return Policy

At Gracefuljoint, we want you to feel confident when enrolling in our digital detox programs. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds, cancellations, program upgrades, and pauses for all products purchased through gracefuljoint.world. This policy is designed to comply with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.

1. Scope

This Return Policy applies to all digital detox programs offered by Gracefuljoint, including:

  • Clarity Starter (seven-day program, NZD 79)
  • Mindful Disconnect (twenty-one-day program, NZD 189)
  • Complete Screen-Free Reset (forty-two-day program, NZD 349)

As our programs are delivered digitally, traditional "returns" of physical goods do not apply. Instead, this policy governs refund requests, enrollment cancellations, and program modifications.

2. Seven-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a seven-day satisfaction guarantee on all digital detox programs purchased through gracefuljoint.world. If you are not satisfied with your program within seven calendar days of your enrollment date, you may request a full refund.

To qualify for a refund under the satisfaction guarantee:

  • Your refund request must be submitted within seven days of the enrollment confirmation date
  • You must contact us at office@gracefuljoint.world with your enrollment details and reason for the refund request
  • You must not have completed more than thirty percent of the program modules
  • Coaching sessions included in the Complete Screen-Free Reset must not have been conducted

Approved refunds are processed within ten business days to the original payment method. Processing times by your financial institution may vary.

3. Refund Exclusions

Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:

  • Refund requests submitted more than seven days after enrollment without qualifying circumstances
  • Programs where more than thirty percent of modules have been completed
  • Complete Screen-Free Reset programs where one or both coaching sessions have been conducted
  • Enrollments terminated due to violation of our Terms of Use or community guidelines
  • Program upgrades where the price difference has already been applied toward a higher-tier program
  • Promotional or discounted enrollments where the discount terms explicitly exclude refunds

4. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you are entitled to remedies if our digital detox programs fail to meet guaranteed standards of acceptable quality, fitness for purpose, or match their description. If a program has a significant problem that cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund regardless of the seven-day guarantee period. Contact us at office@gracefuljoint.world to discuss your situation, and we will work with you to find a fair resolution.

5. Program Upgrades

Participants who wish to continue their digital wellness journey beyond their current program may upgrade to a higher tier:

  • Clarity Starter to Mindful Disconnect: the NZD 79 Clarity Starter payment is credited toward the NZD 189 Mindful Disconnect price, resulting in a NZD 110 upgrade fee
  • Clarity Starter to Complete Screen-Free Reset: the NZD 79 payment is credited toward the NZD 349 price, resulting in a NZD 270 upgrade fee
  • Mindful Disconnect to Complete Screen-Free Reset: the NZD 189 payment is credited toward the NZD 349 price, resulting in a NZD 160 upgrade fee

Upgrade requests must be submitted within thirty days of the original enrollment date. Upgraded programs begin from the point of upgrade, with previously completed modules credited toward the new program where applicable. Upgrade fees are non-refundable once the upgraded program has been accessed.

6. Program Pauses

We understand that life circumstances may require a temporary pause in your digital detox journey. Participants may pause any program for up to fourteen calendar days without losing progress or enrollment status.

To request a pause:

  • Contact us at office@gracefuljoint.world or through the contact form on gracefuljoint.world
  • Provide your enrollment details and preferred pause duration
  • Your program timer will be suspended for the approved pause period

Pauses exceeding fourteen days may be granted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. Extended pauses do not qualify for refunds unless covered by the satisfaction guarantee or Consumer Guarantees Act provisions.

7. Cancellation by Gracefuljoint

In rare circumstances, Gracefuljoint may need to cancel or significantly modify a program offering. If this occurs, affected participants will receive:

  • At least fourteen days advance notice via email
  • A full refund of the enrollment fee if the program is cancelled before completion
  • Access to equivalent alternative program materials if the program is modified but not cancelled
  • Priority enrollment in any replacement program at no additional cost

8. Coaching Session Cancellations

The Complete Screen-Free Reset program includes two one-on-one coaching sessions. Coaching session cancellation and rescheduling policies are as follows:

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with at least twenty-four hours notice at no charge
  • Cancellations with less than twenty-four hours notice count as a used session
  • No-show participants forfeit the scheduled session without rescheduling eligibility
  • Refund requests for programs where coaching sessions have been partially used will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, deducting NZD 75 per completed coaching session

9. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, follow these steps:

  • Email office@gracefuljoint.world with the subject line "Refund Request"
  • Include your full name, email address used for enrollment, program name, and enrollment date
  • Provide a brief explanation of your reason for requesting a refund
  • Allow up to five business days for our team to review and respond to your request

Alternatively, you may submit a refund request through the contact form on gracefuljoint.world, selecting your program and indicating "Refund Request" in your message.

10. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved:

  • Funds are returned to the original payment method used at enrollment
  • Processing is completed within ten business days of approval
  • Your program portal access is revoked upon refund completion
  • You will receive email confirmation when the refund has been processed
  • Bank or card issuer processing times may add an additional five to ten business days

If the original payment method is no longer valid, contact us to arrange an alternative refund method. We may require identity verification before processing refunds to alternative accounts.

11. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact Gracefuljoint directly to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution. Chargebacks initiated without first attempting resolution through our refund process may result in permanent suspension of your account and ineligibility for future program enrollments. We will provide relevant enrollment and usage documentation to payment processors in response to chargeback claims.

12. Gift Enrollments

Digital detox programs purchased as gifts for another person are subject to the same refund terms. The purchaser may request a refund within seven days of the gift enrollment activation date, provided the recipient has not completed more than thirty percent of program modules. Gift recipients may not independently request refunds; refund requests must come from the original purchaser.

13. Disputes and Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with our response to a refund request, you may escalate the matter by contacting us again with additional details. Gracefuljoint is committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. If we cannot reach a mutually acceptable resolution, you may seek assistance from:

  • The Disputes Tribunal of New Zealand for claims up to NZD 30,000
  • The Commerce Commission for matters related to fair trading practices
  • Your local Citizens Advice Bureau for guidance on consumer rights

14. Changes to This Policy

Gracefuljoint may update this Return Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on gracefuljoint.world with an updated effective date. Policy changes do not affect refund rights for enrollments purchased before the change date. Enrolled participants will be notified of material policy changes via email.
